But as for me, I will always have hope...Psalm 71:14

I started a lifestyle change on Monday.  My goals are (1) to lose 20 pounds over 20 weeks, (2) use as many homemade products for cleaning me and the house as possible, and (3) See how long I can make a stocked freezer and pantry last.

I've calculated that the groceries in the house are worth approximately $500.  They include dried beans, rice, pasta, canned goods, including salmon and a freezer full of veggies, chicken, pork and ground beef, along with  a little fish and some frozen fruit.

I also developed my own exercise plan.  I HATE TO EXERCISE!  But I like what I gathered off of Pinterest, and it fulfills daily recommendations.    It includes The Family Circle Walking Plan,  an Arm Work-out, an ab workout that won't kill me and the Starters Exercise Plan.  It's fun and something a 50 year old, menopausal women can enjoy!

I'm really looking forward to the next few months.  It should be fun and interesting and I hope to regain some discipline I've lost over the last few years.  Getting older and lazier is not a good combination!  And, spending money frivolously in this day and age is not advised.  Good luck to me!
